Sumanta Bera is a very optimistic young research fellow, i.e., also called JRF technically, working at Materials Science Centre, IIT Kharagpur (iitkgp.ac.in). He is currently working on a field known as polymer-based piezoelectric material. He is part of a trendy group called khatua group and very talented Prof. Bhanu Bhusan Khatua is the leader of this group. Mr Bera previously worked at ITA-RWTH University as DAAD-IIT Master Sandwich Fellow during his MTech Course. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (vidyamandira.ac.in) situated near holy Belur Math and Ganges River declared among the top 10 colleges in India in 2017; Mr Bera completed his Bachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) degree from that reputed college with excellent CGPA. He also achieved the gold medal for ranking top in his subject during BSc. Mr Bera has an excellent academic career from 10+2 level, and he is presently trying to innovate some useful material for the greater good of the world.
Mr Sumanta belongs Hooghly of West Bengal. Bengali is his mother tongue. There are three members is his family now. He is living in the hostel for the last eight years. In his packed schedule research life, he manages to pull some time for taking care of his physical fitness, and he plays cricket and badminton. Also, worth mentioning that he is an outstanding photographer.
He is a very positive minded person and always encourages his friends for spreading positivity. He has lots of friends. He is also an active person of social media. He loves to watch movies especially Sci-Fi movies very much. He is currently living a well-balanced life at IIT Kharagpur.
